Océ – a Canon Company

Océ is synonymous with world-class innovation and technology. The company established in 1930 as a worldwide player in the field of professional imaging.

After a long-standing ‘liaison’ between Canon Inc. and Océ N.V., the acquisition by Canon became a fact in 2012. The already developed organizational blueprint had to be implemented.

The assignment was to lead the post-integration program management in the Océ People & Change workstream. This involved both the carve-out of the Océ HQ (600 FTE) to Canon EMEA and the integration of the Sales & Marketing organization (12.000 FTE) in the EMEA region.

Working closely with the Océ and Canon leadership on the deployment of the People & HR integration plans. Together with the HR directors in various European countries, the integration plans were rolled out. Additionally, there was a strong focus on the process with ‘social partners’ in the EMEA region.
